The four seasons of Minamata are introduced in a 13 minute multislide show
in the theater. There is also a shop selling Minamata's specialties, a
restspot and a restaurant. Also, Ajinoeki Takenko (a restaurant specialixing
in local dishes) is nearby. |

| Bamboo Garden |
| A Japanese style bamboo garden comprising of 160 varieties of grassy bamboo,
it expresses the limitation of nature and a plea for the restoration of
the environment. |

| Shinsui Sea Wall and Green Belt |

| Running along the water's edge on the Minamata Bay Reclaimed Land, and
with Koijishima before one's eyes, the Shinsui Greenbelt is a place of
relaxation for tourists and city residents alike as they stroll while smelling
the sea and listening to the roar of the waves. This 465 meter-long boardwalk
takes into consideration the environment by not using preservatives on
the lumber. |
