| House where SOHO and ROKA were born |
 |
Minamata takes pride in the Tokutomi brothers, Soho and Roka, who lived
in this house until they were eight and three respectively. It is a historical
structure that appears in the autobiography of Soho and also in the "Shadow
of Death" by Roka. It is significant in that it is presently the oldest
known merchant house style structure in the prefecture where the date of
construction can be confirmed. |
